Lake Life EC

Yuan Ching, Singapore

Lake Life is a unique executive condominium development located in District 22, Singapore. The condominium comprises of 5 blocks containing 546 units, and offers facilities to its residents such as barbecue area, playground, basketball court, pools, tenniscourts and gym.

I was involved in cross-disciplinary model discrepency check and cross-disciplinary clash detection during the construction phase of the project. In this process, the architectural model is updated to conform to the Civil/Structural engineer model/drawings to ensure that there are no discrepencies in drawings handed over to contractors. Cross-disciplinary clash detection ensures that any clashes between structural elements and architectural elements are resolved before construction begins.  This ensures a smoother construction process as all issues and discrepencies can be resolved at earlier stages in design, thus saving cost and ensuring smoother and quicker construction time..
